五律 名利場

                                  旅夜書懷～ 競逐難休

西樓隔一岸，踱步賞方舟，

天際海空濶，風搖水急流，

利名人執著，競逐各不休，

交暗情堪似，揪心又角勾。

細草微風岸， 危檣獨夜舟，

星垂平野闊， 月湧大江流，

名豈文章著， 官應老病休，

飄飄何所似， 天地一沙鷗。

Night Sentiment on trip  Du Fu

Along the banks the reeds are waving in soft breeze.

Lonely the high-masted boat sets sail in the night.

Hanging stars seen all over the endless sky.

The moon rises while the great river flowing speedily.

What good of being me famous for writings?

Having retired in days of ageing and bad health.

What do I mean to be wandering from places?

A hovering gull between heaven and earth.

杜甫帶著家人離開四川，乘舟東下，途經渝州一帶寫下此詩。詩中表達出孤獨寂寞的心情及經世志業無成的悲慨。

前四句寫旅夜所見之景，後四句抒發一己的感懷。

本詩造語精鍊，對仗工整，為杜甫五言律詩名作。

音韻：仄起首句不入韻。韻腳：舟、流、休、鷗（平聲尤韻）。
