夢 紅 樓

輕蘿映月照床端，倦倚妝前鏡花緣，

尋夢香榭芝蘭徑，曲廊灣盡牡丹亭，

火樹銀花五光閃，六丈瓊樓金燦艶，

迎門蓮步輕踏氊，慕入蟾宮遇貴賢，

鳯凰抱柱金粉殿，紅男綠女繽紛宴，

裙飄盪漾舞翩起，和風陣來芳噴氣，

眩迴幾許魂欲與，酒罷半醒訪別宛，

搖搖晃晃靠椅躺，壁前屏畫佳人立，

                    

疑是佳人立畫前，神釆嬌柔貌若仙，

淡紫芙蓉清雅善，回眸淺笑自嫣然，

恰似當年夢裡人，醒來猶幻心扉印。

Illusion of Glamour 

Reflection of moon light beamed  upon my satin bedings,

Drowsily I leaned over the dresser table reading Jing  Hau Yuan story,

Me, an aimless wanderer in a flowery lane, somewhere in the remote valley of nowhere.

Pacing along the winding corridors, ending its way at a fascinated house,

 blazing with glittering lights around the stairway. 

The almost five meters'mansion appeared in its gilt edged splendor,

Aside of which, were columns elaborately decorated in scarlet settings with threads in silk hangings.

While musing in those phoenix castings above,  I was greeted to step in the entrance hall.

Crowded with well dressed guests, the grand party was just ready.

Scented fragrance filled the air that almost drove me dizzy；

There came a familiar couple, ready for a dance.

Passing by with a gaily smile, they waltzed beautifully in the rhythm of music.

So helplessly but too willingly, my heart overwhelmed, my soul exalted;

Unconscious of fallen drunk, I moved uneasily till faintly laid myself on the sofa at an empty hall. 

Captivated  by the lonely portrait hanging on the brocaded wall of grey,

I could see  image of a lady in her pastel purple lace, 

Sparkled with delicacy,  her handsome figure featuring kind of fair beauty;

Unforgettable was her enchanting smile and her look of exotic wild. 

Wasn't she that lady once in my maiden dream？

Until awaken, my heart was yet so sentimentally thrilled.
